Future civil engineer, Michael Taituave, has made his parents very proud. The young man received the Top Foundation Technology Award during the National University of Samoa’s Foundation graduation last week.

Michael is the third child of Ileini and Tuioti Sakaria Taituave. Speaking to the Sunday Samoan, Tuioti said he was extremely pleased about his son’s achievement.
Michael was educated at Apia Primary School, Salelologa and Samoa College. He has been tentatively placed for a scholarship to the University of Canterbury in New Zealand where he is will pursue his goal of becoming a civil engineer.
