A CALL TO PRAY: The prayer conference will begin on Sunday 22nd February and will culminate on Friday 27th February with the vision to unite the people of Samoa in prayer. There will be teaching, preaching and praying with special features by well known local pastors as well as Prime Minister Tuilaepa Sailele Malielegaoi. The event is being scheduled for 22nd – 27th February 2015, in a bid to bring forth the message from God for Samoa. The event will be the Inaugural Prayer Conference hosted by a Christian Ministry called ‘Faamatala Le Upu Ministries’.

A statement from the organisers of the conference say the event is a vision put in the heart of Rev. Tafa Faamatala, the founder of Fa’amatala Le Upu Ministries, to bring the people of God to unite and pray for Samoa.

Based on the biblical scripture of John 13:35 “by this people will know that you are my disciples when you love one another” is the foundation for the week-long conference.

Rev. Tafa Faamatala believes that there is a supernatural awakening from God ready for Samoa but God’s people need to humble themselves and get along with one another in unity and pray, so that God will heal and bless our country.

The conference will be having morning and evening services. The morning services will start with a teaching on the subject of prayer, then prayers will be made for Samoa. For the evening services, different anointed servants of God will be sharing a message that the Lord has put in their hearts for Samoa.

There will be teaching, preaching and praying.

The speakers for the conference will feature Pastor Joe Amosa, Pastor Viliamu Mafo’e, Pastor Livingstone Toelupe, Rev. Tafa Faamatala and Prime Minister, Tuilaepa Sa’ilele Malielegaoi.

“This is a Call to pray in the Spirit for Samoa,” says Rev. Tafa Faamatala.

“There is a big difference between you praying to God for what you want, and the Spirit of God using you to pray to God for what God wants.

God spoke to us through the prophet Isaiah saying that ‘as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts’, if we let the Holy Spirit help us in our praying, we will be praying and asking God for His higher ways and thoughts to be done for our beloved Samoa.”

This event will start on Sunday evening at 7pm for the opening service and set to continue on Monday 23rd through to Friday 27th February with sessions at 10am & 7pm.

Registration is absolutely free and all church denominations are welcome.
