One Touch Ministries programme looking to transform the lives of Samoans and visitors to these shores has kicked off for 2015.
Behind it is Pastor Leonard Solomona who has moved from Brisbane Australia to Samoa to push the programme.
“It is about championing life, soul and spirit,” he said.
“We have just started our first 10-Week Health Transformation Challenge for 2015.
“There are 173 people who have registered for the challenge and now we have a team of 9 Trainers and 10 Admin who all volunteer their time to help run our programmes.
“We are also running health seminars with Government Departments and we’ve just finished a seminar with Development Bank of Samoa.”
A big part of the programme is the weight loss challenge. Pastor Solomona said they are planning to host four boot camp challenges.
They are also planning a ‘1Touch Conference’ for the end of the year, which will be open to people of all backgrounds.
“The conference is purposed at equipping people in spiritual growth, health, marriage, family and prosperity,” said Pastor Solomona.
“We also envisage 1Touch Ministries to take the message of health into the schools.”
Last year, Pastor Leonard Solomona was in Samoa for a year.
He started a program with the help of his family the 1Touch Challenge transforming the lives of more than 200 Samoans that suffered from overweight and lack of fitness.
The 1Touch Challenge is a 10 week Health Challenge that ran for one hour over ten weeks and consisted of four sessions.
The 1Touch Transformation challenges focuses on Health in its totality – healthy spirit, weight loss, healthy heart, healthy Digestive system, healthy mind and soul and healthy body. The challenge does not focus purely on 10 weeks; it focuses on taking the principles used in the ten weeks and making them a lifestyle.
Pastor Solomona had served as a pastor at the Hosanna Church Brisbane.
