The former Chief Executive Officer of the Ministry of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Auseugaefa Poloma Komiti is back.
This time, Cabinet has approved his appointment as Samoa’s Consul General in American Samoa for the next three years.
Mata'afa Tomasi Esera previously held this position.
Auseugaefa had ser ved in Government as Chief Executive Officer for the Ministry of the Prime Minister and Cabinet from 1997 to 2009.
He also worked for the South Pacific Commission in Noumea from 1992 – 1996.
Auseugaefa started his service for the Government in 1974 in the Savali Newspaper and also in the then Office of the Foreign Affairs.
Auseugaefa has been the Director for the Samoa Life Assurance Corporation since 2012, and has served in many local and regional committees.
Auseugaefa hails from the villages of Fusi and Tafitoala Safata, and also Faleu Manono.
He is a member of the Methodist Church in Samoa.
He is married and has five children.
