The three-test series between Samoa and Scotland is heading for the decider tonight after an impressive one-point win by Samoa at Apia Park last night. The 30-29 win was much to the delight of Samoan netball supporters who turned up to urge their team on.
The second match last night was supposed to have been played on Monday night. Unfavourable conditions, however, led to the cancellation of the match. Match officials declared that the surface was too slippery.
Last night, the home team was not to be outdone again. Whatever Scotland threw their way, Samoa responded with a vengeance.
Samoa captain Kylie Leota was true to her word when she said last Saturday that her team would rectify their mistakes.
After four hard fought quarters, Samoa emerged victorious – even if it was the slimmest of margins. Leota was extremely happy with the result. She said they hope that they can continue their winning run tonight.
