WELCOME ABOARD: Three new Lions Club of Apia members were inducted into the Club last Thursday by visiting Lions Huck and Christine from Lions District 202K in New Zealand.

The three new members (at the back holding membership certificates) are Sharon Rasch, Valu Saroa and Savai’i Fiu. Apia Lions Club is part of Lions International the largest fully volunteer N.G.O in the world with 46,000 clubs; 1.4 million members in over 200 countries. It is the only N.G.O with a seat in the United Nations and the Club has been in Samoa for over 50 years and has donated large monetary sums and substantial aid assistance to the Samoan community especially in times of disasters over the years.
