The two men involved in the gun battle with with undercover Police officers before Christmas remain in custody.

The two men allegedly drove into a family’s front yard, parked their vehicle and waited for the Police vehicle chasing after them to drive in.

When they saw the Police vehicle, they started shooting at it.

One Police officer was hit.

He was hospitalised but has been discharged.

Yesterday, Fauono said the investigation is continuing.

“Until that is finalised, the charges against the two men alleged to be drug dealers can only be revealed then.”
