The game ended 5-0 in favour of Papua New Guinea earning them their second win.

Coach for Samoa Desmond Faai’uaso feels sad for the loss at the same time feels happy for the performance of the boys.

“A simple mistake from the boys and they (Papua New Guinea) got to score but I’m still happy for their performance”, “It’s their first tournament since playing soccer and this is their first international tournament”.

Player for Samoa Peter Hunt also expressed his disappointment, “we have them off the first half really well and the second half we just let five goals in, easy goals”.

Hunt admits lack of communication from the back line is one of the things that went “wrong”.

Samoa’s stands with three losses after being defeated by New Caledonia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea and one win after defeating Cook Islands.
