Police are continuing their investigations into a complainant from Grand Ocean Industries (Samoa) Ltd against Associate Minister of Trade, Commerce and Industries, Muagututagata Peter Ah Him.
The confirmation came from Acting Police Commissioner Fauono Talalelei Tapu yesterday morning.

The allegations against the M.P. concern misappropriation of funds from the Chinese owned business that was registered as a Samoan company on 7 November, 2012.
Fauono said the investigation will determine any relevant charges against the M.P. in relation to the complainant.
But so far there is nothing substantial for him to report on at this stage.
“When the investigation is completed Police will be able to finalise any charges but at this stage the complainant is in relation to allegations of theft and forgery.”
In earlier reports Muagututagata was “shocked and surprised” he was being investigated.
At the time when he was approached and the first report was published in relation to this matter the M.P. claimed he was never sought or informed by Police.
