Fetuiai Faith Talailemotu, the first caller of the lucky draw the night before and winner of $2,000 cash was shocked when she received the call at home.
“We were just about to have dinner and then Leaupepe called and so we turned on our TV and my family screamed with joy,” she explained.
The young lady thanked Digicel for the wonderful promotion that has definitely made everyone happy in her family.
“I can now enroll at NUS this semester and do my Bachelor’s degree. I can also help with my dad’s saofa’i that’s coming up – this is such a huge help to me and my family,” said Fetuiai.
Another winner, Darryl Wilson was so pleased with his winnings of $500 after only arriving into Samoa three days ago. He said his father and family are from Moata’a and he was staying at the Marina Hotel when he got the surprise call.
“I couldn’t believe it, I was very surprised. I want to thank Digicel for this opportunity – it’s made this trip to Samoa one I’ll never forget.”
Meanwhile in Savai’i, Asomaliu Tofilau of Iva received her $2,000 prize from Digicel’s Manager, Eisa Schuster, at Digicel’s Store in Salelologa.
