Monday’s starry night set the stage for a Samoan couple to celebrate their Ruby Wedding Anniversay.
Luamanuvae Su’a Seehoy Chan Mow and Lemalu Amy Chan Mow celebrated their love story that spans for forty years... and counting.
They first met in 1972 and they got married on January 11, 1975.
They are proud parents to Charlotte (married to Lei’ataua Jerry Brunt), Arturo (married to Nicolina), Cedric (married to Terexa) and Talahiva.
They are also proud grandparents to Pualani, Marcellin, Ezrah, Isaias and Malachi.
According to Lemalu, the secret to having 40 years of marriage is patience, obedience and love. To renew their vows, the couple sliced a special cake and celebrated with their immediate families.
Luamanuvae and Lemalu together with their youngest child Talahiva run their flower shop business, Salote Florist.
The celebration was held at the Orator Hotel which is managed by their eldest child, Charlotte and husband Lei’ataua.
