BlueSky vendors reap rewards

DOING BUSINESS WITH BLUESKY: Vendors and members of the business community with some of team at Bluesky.PR - Following BlueSky’s “I am 3” eCharge and Win presentation last week, a special presentation was held Thursday morning especially for its vendors and corporate promotions.

Vendors, people and businesses who sell BlueSky eCharge to the general public, were also given a chance to win during BlueSky’s 3rd birthday campaign.  

The vendors were sorted into two categories: the first group were made up of those who eCharged from $150 to $599 and those who eCharged $600 upwards made up the second.  

The winners were then selected randomly from all the eligible vendors in each category.

In the $150+ Category, the first prize went to PS Minimart at Maluafou.  They received $300 cash and a brand new LG handset from BlueSky.  

The winner of the $600+ category was Samoa Post at Matafele, which received prize money of $500 cash and a brand new LG handset. Complimentary prizes were also given to all the vendors who were present at this morning’s presentation.

The prizes for BlueSky’s “We are 3” corporate promotion were also presented today.  This promotion was specifically targeted at BlueSky’s corporate customers who signed up for a new service or paid their bills on time.  

First place went to Ligaliga Funeral Services, which received a 30% discount from all their BlueSky services for the next month.  The second prize of a $3000 bar or restaurant tab was won by the Ministry of Finance.  Manumea Villas,

Catholic Media & Communication Ministry and Samoa Stationery and Books also received an official Manu Samoa jersey each.    

BlueSky’s Country Manager, Tole’afoa Douglas Creevey, was on hand to thank the vendors who were present for their partnership in ensuring that customers’ eCharge needs are met anywhere and at anytime.

 Bluesky  restores services after power knocks out internet

 Problems for customers of Bluesky whose internet was disrupted by a power blackout on Friday have been resolved.

The company confirmed this in a public notice it issued yesterday.

“We wish to advise all our Bluesky customers that all Bluesky Services are now fully restored following technical restoration and repair carried out since yesterday afternoon, Friday July 4th 2014,” the notice said.

“Services were restored progressively from 2am Saturday July 5th, 2014. Fixed line services have been restored.”

“Mobile and ADSL Broadband Data have been restored.”

According to Bluesky, the outage was related to power failure following a commercial power outage on Friday afternoon.

“We are taking immediate action to improve network resilience to protect from future reoccurrence.”

“We again apologise unreservedly for the inconvenience this has caused.”
